M69 – Spain First Day Cover Stamp Day Isabella 5th Centenary stamps SG1166 – SG1170 Lovely red cancel, cancels Sent to Chicago, USA 1951

Spain. First Day Cover, 12th October 1951, with a full set of Stamp Day, Isabella 5th Centenary stamps, SG1166 – SG1170. Illustrated cover with standard FDC cancels by the Madrid Philatelic Service, plus and elaborate red, commemorative cancel from the Air Service. Hand R-161 is assumed to be the Registered cancel?

Sent to Chicago, USA and two receipt cancels, one on the reverse, a normal registered one and a lovely Chestnut Street Station one!

A scarce, good condition cover but the large stamps are ‘cramped’ and a couple overlap.
